After that, the road leads to Motovun, a magnificent medieval hilltop town renowned for its well-preserved walls, legends—and truffles. We’ll stroll through its centuries-old core, climb the ramparts for a panoramic view over the Mirna River valley and the Motovun forest, home to one of Istria’s most prized treasures—the white truffle.
We’ll cap off our experience with lunch in an authentic Istrian konoba, accompanied by local wines, fuži with truffles, prosciutto, cheese, and other homemade delicacies.

- Step into the fairytale world of stone lanes and ancient walls alive with creativity.
- Guided walk through the town with an experienced guide.
- Free time for personal exploration, coffee, or a panoramic-view selfie over the Mirna valley.
- 11:15 | Board the vehicle and drive to Motovun
- 11:30 | Welcome to Motovun – where every stone speaks and every corner hides a tale from the past!
- Guided tour of the medieval core and famous ramparts (admission included).
- Learn who Veli Jože was and why he chose this as his home.
- Photo stop to capture the spectacular view of vineyards and valleys.
- 13:00 | Traditional Istrian Lunch
- We’ll seat you in an authentic konoba where every bite speaks louder than words!
- 15:00 | Free Time
- Free time for souvenirs, coffee, or wine tasting.
- 16:00 | Full of impressions and new memories, we head back.

- Duration: Total experience time: Travel to the experience location and back to the starting point takes approximately 4–5 hours one way (depending on traffic).
